Jason is very helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions (and I had a lot of questions). I even added some extra services last minute and he was very accommodating. He reached out to me right away with all of my results and sent me his reports very quickly. It was very comforting to receive a phone call explanation before opening the results in my e-mail. I would absolutely recommend Bald Eagle Inspection Services and will be using them for all of our follow-up needs. Thank you!
Jason was very accommodating and thorough in his inspection of our potential home. Very personable and easy to communicate with, which is important when discussing an investment of this magnitude. Would highly recommend his services to any one in need of a home inspection .
I got my home inspection done by Jason. It was the first time I have ever seen it done and had a lot of questions. Jason was very thorough, knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to go through each area with me and explain it in a way that I felt comfortable with, especially regarding mold. His experience and dedication shows, as well as his professional manner. I highly recommend Jason for your home inspection services. Thanks so much, Jason!

Easily the easiest phase of a somewhat complicated home purchase was working with Jason at Bald Eagle. He wants you to know what's going on, is knowledgeable, professional, and understanding (first time homebuyers require more patience). My loan officer went out of her way to share her praise of the thoroughness and completion of his reports (no ongoing back-forth required for revisions). Put your mind at ease; you found who you need for home inspection, bank write-up, and FHA consultancy.

Asbestos FAQs

Is it worth testing for asbestos?

Asbestos is a known carcinogen, and exposure to asbestos can lead to mesothelioma, lung cancer, and other serious health problems. If you’re concerned about exposure to asbestos, it is worth considering testing for the presence of asbestos in your home or workplace.

How much is asbestos testing?

The cost of asbestos testing will vary depending on the type of test and the size of the area being tested. Expect to pay anywhere from $425 on up for a professional asbestos inspection. For a quote, you can request an estimate by filling out our request form.

What does asbestos testing involve?

Asbestos testing generally involves taking a sample of material from your home or workplace and sending it to a laboratory for analysis . The type of sample will depend on the type of material being tested. For example, a bulk sample might be taken for a Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) test of drywall, while a Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) sample might be taken for a sample of VCT flooring. Sometimes both tests are required for a single sample and the number of samples required may be more than one. PLM tests are much cheaper than TEM tests.

How long does asbestos testing take?

Asbestos testing generally takes five days to complete once the samples have reached the lab. Samples can be expedited as fast as 24HR for an additional fee.
